GRAPHIC DESIGNER, SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER AND CONTENT CREATOR
During my time at an agency, I worked as a Graphic Designer, taking on a variety of marketing and design projects that helped businesses strengthen their brand presence. From social media management to print design, I had the opportunity to refine my skills in content creation, branding, and visual storytelling.
One of my key roles was working as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator for a scaffolding company. My main responsibility was to drive engagement and increase brand recognition across their social media platforms. To achieve this, I developed a series of custom templates and branded graphics that aligned with their identity and resonated with their audience. By consistently posting eye-catching and relevant content, I helped strengthen their online presence, promote their services, and ensure they stood out in a competitive industry.
I also had the privilege of working with a Wolverhampton-based charity dedicated to supporting local individuals into employment and self-employment. I contributed to their mission by showcasing the incredible services they offer, from accredited training courses to office services for local businesses. Managing their social media, I crafted engaging posts that highlighted success stories and promoted their programs. By creating a professional and consistent online presence, I helped amplify their message, reaching more individuals and businesses in need of support. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to contribute to a cause that empowers people to succeed.
Another exciting project was creating a series of social media posts for a hairdressing brand. This project allowed me to dive into content planning and development, ensuring the visuals and messaging reflected the brand’s personality and values. Working closely with their team, I created posts that showcased their services, creativity, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Through cohesive and engaging content, I helped them strengthen their online presence and connect with a wider audience.
I also had the opportunity to work on one of my first client briefs, designing a brochure for a midlands musical event at Dudley Town Hall. Seeing the brochure come together and go to print was a significant milestone in my career. Attending the event and witnessing the live performances made the project even more special. It was a proud moment to see how the design efforts contributed to an unforgettable experience for the audience.
Through these projects and more, I’ve gained hands-on experience in branding, social media strategy, and visual storytelling. Each opportunity has helped shape my skills, and I look forward to applying them to future creative challenges.
