WRITER, ART DIRECTOR, DESIGNER AND PRINT
One of the highlights of my academic journey was my degree dissertation titled The Effects of Colour, where I explored how colour influences consumer behaviour, particularly in terms of brand awareness. The dissertation itself was a comprehensive 6,000-word analysis, but I wanted to take the opportunity to create a visual thesis to complement and enhance the research. The aim was to produce a piece that not only communicated the
findings but also embodied the subject matter through design, allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves
in the content.
Colour plays a significant role in everyday life, and its influence on consumer behaviour cannot be overstated. From small startups to global corporations, marketers must carefully select colours to represent their brand identity and products. The right colour choices can evoke specific emotions, influence decisions, and shape a brand's perception in the consumer's mind. My visual thesis explored these concepts, illustrating the psychology behind colour choices and how they impact consumer trust and loyalty. By transforming the written dissertation into a visual experience, I was able to convey the complexities of this subject in an engaging and intuitive way.
