Hi, I am Phoebe Hayward. I am a freelance Graphic Designer and Digital Marketer with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and an MSc in Digital Marketing Management from the University of Wolverhampton. I am currently seeking a role in graphic design or digital marketing where I can apply the creative, strategic, and analytical skills developed through my academic studies and professional experience. I specialise in web design (UX/UI) and branding, with experience delivering user-focused, accessible design solutions across a range of projects. As a dyslexic designer, I bring a unique perspective to problem-solving and a strong awareness of inclusive and accessible design principles. I am equally confident working independently or collaboratively and pride myself on being a thoughtful listener with a positive, approachable attitude.

Hayward Social Studio – Founder, Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer: January 2025 – Present
I founded Hayward Social Studio to deliver branding, digital marketing and design services for SMEs. I work closely with clients to develop brand identities, social media strategies and website designs that create a clear and cohesive presence across digital platforms. My role involves leading brand discovery sessions, creating visual identities and producing marketing content that aligns with each client’s goals. This position has strengthened my skills in client management, strategic thinking and delivering creative solutions from concept through to launch.

DRPG – This university brief strengthened my understanding of high-end brand standards and the structure of professional assessment programmes. It encouraged critical analysis of established brands and refined my ability to communicate premium design through consistency, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
Pigeon Magazine – As part of my editorial design studies, I designed, produced, and printed a published magazine, developing advanced skills in layout, typography, and print production. I also had the opportunity to meet local artist and graphic designer Adam Guy, gaining insight into both freelance and studio-based design practice.
Sherbet Donkey – This project involved redesigning a website, which sparked my strong interest in UX/UI design. Through user research and interface development, I focused on creating a visually engaging and accessible digital experience. As a dyslexic designer, this project reinforced my awareness of clarity, usability, and inclusive design principles.
